George Cheeran
Director
George is a passionate advocate for the Malayalam language and culture. With a deep love for Malayalam literature and radio dramas, he has produced several community-focused programs aired on Malayalam TV channels. Based in Auckland, he’s actively involved with the Auckland Malayali Association and various Christian organisations.
Professionally, George works as a Customer Success Manager for an ERP software provider. He holds a postgraduate degree in Business Management and has completed the General Management Programme at IIM Lucknow.
Sindhu Punnoose
Director
Sindhu brings people together through storytelling. She’s known for her engaging interviews with community members on Indian news TV, where she shines a light on the achievements of fellow Malayalis around the world.
A seasoned media professional, Sindhu spent over 13 years at Malayala Manorama, one of India’s most respected news organisations. She also served as Secretary of the Auckland Malayali Association in 2022. With an MBA and a postgraduate qualification in digital marketing, she currently works as a Senior Business Analyst.
Anisha Punnoose

Anisha Punnoose is the AI/IPA Manager in a leading telecom company in New Zealand, with over 14 years of experience driving digital transformation. She has won many awards, including the Women in ICT awards 2024 for technology innovation.
As an Electronics and Communication engineer, Anisha specialises in intelligent automation, AI, and RPA across telecom and banking. She’s known for building high-performing teams, delivering impactful tech solutions, and creating scalable automation strategies that boost efficiency and customer experience in New Zealand and abroad.
Jo Johnson
Financial Adviser
Jo Johnson is the Chief Financial Officer of a globally acclaimed luxury fashion brand in New Zealand. A Chartered Accountant with a wealth of experience across both public (IRD) and private sectors, Jo brings deep expertise in financial strategy, debt management, taxation, and cash flow optimisation.
Jo is a board member for private entities, a mentor at the University of Auckland, and a seasoned property investor involved in flips, renovations, subdivisions, and developments. She is also an active community member, having served on the committee of the Auckland Malayalee Samajam.
